Tropical villa Bottelier
The large terrace of 150m2 has a wooden deck with an open sunny part giving access to the private pool where you can cool down while sunbathing on the sun beds.
Near the house the terrace is partly covered. Here is the dining table and a large seating area with sofas to relax.
From the terrace you have a magnificent view of the island and the garden. Also on the terrace free wifi is available.
The beautifully landscaped tropical garden contains low and high palm trees, cactus and banana trees.
And further different colors bougainvillea, a mango tree, etc.
The site is entirely enclosed, partly walled and partly with a fence. A lockable gate gives access to the site. The car can be parked on the property under the illuminated carport.
In the dark, the house, pool and driveway are attractively illuminated with LED lighting in warm-white color.
The living room has a nice view of the garden and close to the kitchen directly on the large outdoor terrace. The living room has its own ver quiet airconditioning and all windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
The TV-set shows local and international (also Dutch) channels.
The modern kitchen is equiped with a diswasher, a magnetron and other relevant items for daily use.
There are 2 double bedrooms on either side of the bathroom. Each has its own access to the bathroom and living room.
Bedroom 1 has a grand king size double bed (180×200 cm). In bedroom 2 two single beds (90×200 cm) are available.
Each bedroom has its own very quiet air conditioning and all windows have screens.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and wall cupboard with mirror door.
This property is also suitable for a family with children. For children there is an extra bed with mosquito net, a commode with changing mat, a high chair, a baby bath and a lounger with mosquito net.
In the storage room is a washing machine, iron, ironing board and Weber barbecue at your disposal.
Free wifi is available (150 Mb/s download).
The house is equipped with an alarm system connected to the alarm service.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a typical tropical villa. The relative high altitude blows a cool breeze almost all year.
The tropical villa is located in the district Bottelier, a quiet and very central district on the south-eastern side of Willemstad. Nearby you will find a wide choice of excellent restaurants, from simple to luxurious. A well-stocked supermarket (Vreugdenhil) is in three minutes reach.
To explore the island, you are advised to hire a rental car.
By car you can quickly reach the popular beaches of Mambo Beach (8 minutes), Jan Thiel (10 minutes) and Kokomo Beach (20 minutes).
On these child-friendly beaches you can dive, lunch, get drinks and hire a lounge bed enjoying the Caribbean sun. In the evening, enjoy the varied nightlife in the various restaurants, cafes and beach bars.
In the immediate vicinity you will find unique snorkel and dive spots. The nearby nature reserve at the salt pans of Jan Thiel is a nice location for a mountain bike ride or walk. The well-known shopping malls such as Promenade, Zuikertuin Mall and Bloempo are just a 6-minute drive. The center of the historic capital city of Willemstad is a 10 minutes and Hato Airport is a 25 minutes drive.
Rental rates and other conditions
- The rental rate per day for the apartment depends on the occupation:
– € 100 for 2 persons
– € 110 for 3 persons
– € 120 for 4 persons
The rental rate includes use of linen and towels and consumption of water, gas and electricity of max. 25 kWh per day. - The minimal rental period is 5 days. Rental periods of 14 days or longer are discounted:
– 5% for a rental period of 14-20 days
– 7,5% for a rental period of 21-27 days
– 10% for a rental period of 28 days or longer - Special rates for longer term rental.
- The deposit is € 250 and will be returned if everything is left in good shape.
- The electricity consumption of 25 kWh per day is based on the use of air conditioning at night in both bedrooms. Consumption above will be charged @ € 0.60 per kWh to offset the deposit.
- The final cleaning costs are € 75. For longer stays it can be agreed cleaning the apartment during the stay.
- The rental rate is excluding tourist tax of 7% of the total rental price (excl. final cleaning and deposit).
